Pats vs Broncos (The Rematch)
The Pats faced the Broncos for the second night in a row, as the home-and-home series came to a close in Regina. The Broncos proved that they really are the worst team on the road, and as a result, the Pats got the win and the 2 points by a score of 5-2. Scoring for the Pats were: Gustafsson(his first as a Pat), Jordan Eberle, Weal, and Hood(2). While Cody Eakin scored both goals for the Broncos in their losing effort. To be fair, this was the third game for Swift in as many days, and they were without some of their key D-men.. but hey, we were without some of our key forwards! With his goal and two assists on the night Regina Pats forward Jordan Eberle moves into a tie for second place in league scoring with 24 points. Jordan also has only played 11 games, while the people he is tied with have played 13 and 14, so in my opinion, for right now, he holds sole possession of the second place title. The Pats have a break until they play Friday in Prince Albert, the Pats beat the Raiders 9-3 one game then lost to them 2-1 the next, so who knows how this game will play out. Their next home game is Wednesday, November 4th when the Medicine Hat Tigers will be in town.
