Oilers Update

After going on a tear during their roadtrip, the Oilers seemed to be turning things around and won 5 straight. However, they have now lost 3 straight. Most recently, they dropped a 4-2 decision to Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. The Oilers got off to a great start with goals from Horcoff and, (finally) a goal from Cogliano. However, the Oilers managed to give up a 2 goal lead and let the game slip through their gloves. The Capitals scored 4 unanswered goals all in the third period to steal the win from the Edmonton kids. The Oilers next action is against the St. Louis Blues on Monday.

Scoring for the Oilers were: Horcs, Cogs
Scoring for the Cap's were: Ovie (2), Fleischmann, Backstrom
