Oilers Can't Handle the Islanders

It wasn't a very good day in Oil Country, as the boys lost 3-1 to the New York Islanders. The Oilers offense has been struggling lately, they seem snake-bitten around the net, and combined with the lasting effects of the flu has made for some "unique" line combinations which don't seem to be treating the Oilers too well. Although..the Oilers got off to a great start as the captain, Ethan Moreau, netted the first goal of the game. However, they had no reply for the next 3 goals, all of which were scored by the Islanders. Tavares scored another goal for his National League team tonight, which puts him with 10 points in 13 games.. not bad at all. The Oilers next action is Thursday against the New York Rangers, hopefully a healthy roster with pleanty of offensive power is in the stars for that one!
