Strikeforce

The UFC's main competition, Strikeforce, put on quite a good fight card this weekend, featuring many former UFC fighters. The main event had TUF 4 alumni Scott "Hands of Steel" Smith against Cung Le, who has just returned from his failed attempt at an acting career (I could have called that one!). The bout had Le dominating the entire time, he must have set the record for most attempted and landed spinning back kicks in any MMA bout... ever. Scott Smith has a history of getting crushed by body shots, but he also has a history of coming back from them in dramatic fashion,(ehem, Pete Sell.), and this night would be no different. In the final 2 minutes of the 3rd round Scott managed to catch Le with a right hook, and then let his hands go until finally getting the knock out. Scott should seriously consider changing his nickname from "Hands of Steel" to "The Comeback Kid". Congratulations Scott.
